Women Power 2030

A bold visual identity for feminist power—strategically built to mobilise, connect, and grow.

Women Power 2030 is a global initiative supporting women’s rights and feminist organisations to drive gender equality and sustainable development—mobilising networks, influencing gender-responsive policy, and building momentum for climate and environmental action. As a feminist-led design studio, we were commissioned to create a brand refresh that didn’t just look the part, but felt like the movement itself.

From the start, the goal wasn’t to default to the usual visual shorthand for “women” or “activism”. Instead, we leveraged our lived experience in community-building and set out to build an identity that could hold two truths at once: the urgency of systemic change, and the care it takes to build movements that last.

The Challenge

Women Power 2030 needed a dynamic visual identity that would feel memorable across diverse global contexts—from high-level policy briefings to grassroots campaign scales. The challenge was to signal feminist justice, freedom, diversity, and solidarity without leaning on symbols that can be reductive or overly institutional. Because we understand that feminism isn’t a monolith, we knew the brand needed to feel modern and energising, while staying deeply welcoming—an invitation to join a movement rather than a corporate call to action.

What We Did

We developed a compact brand system centred on a responsive logo, supported by a bold palette and typography choices that work together as a single, powerful voice.

At the heart of the visual identity is a logo designed to communicate both strength and warmth. The megaphone anchors the mark in collective action—an invitation to speak, organise, and be heard. From it, organic wildflowers grow outward: a sign of energy, care, and the patient work of building power over time. By moving beyond clichéd activist imagery, we created a way of expressing feminist impact that feels both revolutionary and resilient.

We paired this with typography that balances presence with approachability: a bold headline style for brand authority, complemented by a softer, rounded type that brings a human touch.

The colour palette—vibrant pinks alongside a vital green—avoids traditional gendered stereotypes, offering a modern contrast that ensures the brand remains visible, energetic, and expressive across all digital and physical formats.

Impact

This refresh provided Women Power 2030 with a clearer, more confident way to show up—one that supports both visibility and connection. By translating their mission into a recognisable brand mark, we have made it easier for their team to mobilise global networks and create consistent campaign materials across diverse partnerships.

The visual language now reflects the true nuance of their work: it is bold enough to demand systemic change, yet warm enough to foster solidarity. By treating design as an essential part of movement-building, we’ve helped ensure that Women Power 2030 isn’t just seen, but is understood as a leading force for gender equality.
