New Horizon Youth Centre
New Horizon Youth Centre is a London-based charity supporting young people aged 16–24 who are homeless or unsafe. They required an impact report that could perform a dual role: communicating their life-saving work with emotional care while remaining highly functional for busy stakeholders.
As a studio focused on advocacy-led design, we partnered with New Horizon to shape a report that balances human-centered storytelling with the confident hierarchy required for institutional trust.

The Challenge
Impact reporting often exists at a difficult intersection: statistics and service data must sit alongside politically charged contexts and urgent, lived experience-led narratives. The challenge was to architect a document that avoided “wall of text” fatigue while remaining emotionally respectful.
We needed to create a visual rhythm that supported multiple reading paths—from the high-level scan of a donor to the deep, analytical read of a policy partner.
What We Did
We engineered a flexible grid system capable of handling diverse content types—narrative arcs, pull quotes, photography, and data highlights—without sacrificing visual coherence. By establishing a rigorous typographic hierarchy, we ensured readers remained oriented throughout the document.
To extend the project’s reach, we developed a suite of social media assets that translated the report’s visual language into high-impact digital cards. This ensured that the charity’s key findings could travel beyond the PDF, providing the team with a ready-to-use communication toolkit that reduced the administrative burden of post-launch promotion.
Impact
An effective impact report is more than a record—it is a resource mobilisation tool. By providing New Horizon with a clear, professional visual system, we empowered their team to communicate their success with authority to funders and partners.
The integrated social assets further increased the visibility of their mission, allowing key information to travel further across digital channels. Together, these materials have become a permanent part of their advocacy infrastructure, used in high-stakes funding conversations and stakeholder updates to turn complex data into a compelling call to action for youth homelessness support.
