The Circus Dialogues
The Circus Dialogues is an artistic research project funded by KASK School of Arts that investigates experimental encounters and exchanges between circus practice and theory. The Circus Dialogues is committed to defending circus as a field in which experimental thinking is already happening and can continue to happen, along multiple lines and across multiple idioms. We were proud to produce the project’s new website.

Branding

The Circus Dialogues wanted a modern and engaging platform that would integrate with their existing brand identity. We took inspiration from elements of the circus world, playing with animated colour gradients to touch upon the idea of movement and fluidity. Both fonts , ‘Coconat’ and ‘Ranade’, are open-source and designed by women.
Website
As The Circus Dialogues incorporate feminist, new materialist themes in their work, they wanted their branding to convey a sense of rebellion and stridency on their website.
The Circus Dialogues include multiple projects on their website, so we decided to assign colours to each project to differentiate between them. Focusing on enhancing user experience and responsive design, these new colour pallets make the site clearer and easier to navigate.
