New Horizon Youth Centre
New Horizon Youth Centre supports young Londoners who are homeless or at risk of being homeless. Through their day centre, outreach and remote services, they help people aged 16-24 to overcome the barriers life has put in their way and solve their homelessness for good. New Horizon came to us with fresh brand guidelines. Our job was to apply these to their 2021-2022 annual report.

NHYC’s readymade brand guidelines were a driving force behind the inspiration for this project. We had fonts, a colour scheme, and even illustrations to work with. Working with members of NHYC’s team, we broke up lengthy portions of copy by pulling out key quotes and facts, aiding readability.
NHYC do vital work for young people. The illustrations helped us to convey this by bringing a sense of humanity and immediacy to the document. Due to the relatively short length of the report, we were able to custom-design every single page and consciously give each section an identity.
Theory of Change
We relished the opportunity to convey New Horizon Youth Centre’s theory for change visually, through diagrams, images, layout and a defined hierarchy of information. Working with members of NHYC’s team, we broke up lengthy portions of copy by pulling out key quotes and facts.
